PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE that Luke Crookes, a fabulous composer, musician and bassoon player, will be joining us for the final 25th Anniversary Ad Hoc Dance Project

Luke has worked with Ad Hoc Dance twice before and is a brilliant collaborator. Luke will lead the promenade choreography, to be created at Manchester Art Gallery, with his imaginative bassoon playing. Ad Hoc Dance ( an adult community dance company for Manchester) continue to celebrate their 25th anniversary. The final anniversary project, entitled Physical Acts, is a weekend intensive at Manchester Art Gallery on November 17th and 18th 2018. If you are over 18 years and are interested in contemporary dance/creative movement ( no previous experience required, just an inquisitive mind and body) then do please join us. We will create a choreography together in response to several pieces of art in the gallery ( as part of the Speech Acts exhibition). This choreography will be performed on the Sunday afternoon/end of the weekend, to the public in the art gallery. Details of the weekend intensive below:

Course runs: Saturday 17th November: 10am to 4.45pm and Sunday 18th November: 10am to 4.45pm 

The performances of the created choreography, Physical Acts will be performed at at 3.45pm and 4.15pm on Sunday November 18th and will be open to the public and free of charge ( audience to meet/gather in the Clore Gallery)


Cost for weekend course ( 12 hours) = £54 and £48 concs.
Payment is on the first day ( November 17th) in person, by cheque or cash.
Whilst not compulsory to book on the course, a return message registering your interest indicates numbers for me
Please wear clothing suitable for dancing in the gallery/a public space ie tracksuit bottoms and t-shirt and trainers
